MordredPMV – I Wanna Be a Slave (Comic Version)
Video Timeline
Description
Everything I wrote for the original version applies here as well. I had never created a piece before where effects played such a significant role. Even so, I remained distant during its creation, as I had never included such intense elements in my works before, like the Woodman piece or Sasha and Lola’s videos. I was ashamed of the result, yet it turned out so good that I didn't dare to discard it. The comic effect veils the piece, revealing body lines while blurring skin. It merges areas, erasing distinct features, creating a unified, active form. These figures in the video behave humanly, yet they are much further from that state. Their cartoon-like nature takes away the seriousness and depth of the events. Post-creation, I discovered an intriguing aspect of this effect. Viewers *know* real people perform behind the cartoon facade, adding a thrilling layer of hidden reality to the already captivating piece. I'm eager to hear your thoughts on this effect and its impact on you.
